Newman Bros. Limited has been on the forefront of safety innovation since the first shovel went in the ground 140+ years ago. We pride ourselves in adopting new safety standards and techniques in the field. Creating a culture around safety that includes everyone that comes into contact with one of our projects. A culture that ensures all of our staff feel safe and comfortable. Thanks to our incredible group of workers we have surpassed 2,000,000 hours worked without a loss time injury! We continue to better our safety program, ensuring the safest possible environment for our workers. In 2020 we achieved a safety designation that less then 2% of construction companies in Ontario have achieved! A Certificate of Recognition (COR) from the IHSA.
We are very proud of this achievement and we continuously grow and develop our health and safety management system across the entire company as we work towards the next 3,000,000 hours milestone for another 140 years.
